Professional Photographers of Nebraska convention

Every year for the past 20 years or so I have attended this convention and been a member of PPofN but it wasn't until last year that I entered the folio competition. As most of our clients know I am most happy if they are happy, so I had never entered the competitions our association had to offer. Last year we did very well. So this year when I entered I did not expect to win anything. I am my worst critic! But to my amazement the judges liked my style and blessed me with some of the top honors.

2nd place Single Adult Female- Kenzi Utecht-Plainview Senior scoring 84

Danielle Vinson-Osmond Senior scoring 80

Kaylee Olson-Children scoring 79

And the one that surprised me the most & I am most excited about (because it is the first time for the award)....NEBRASKA'S SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR!

I am very honored! We have a lot of talent in this state and I am very honored to have been chosen.

We had a great weekend! Margret and Heidi attended the convention with us and learned so much from all the talented speakers. We are ready to get started changing things up again...as always!

Women's Expo 2010

Thank you to all the moms and daughters that came out to the Women's Expo at Divots January 22 & 23.The event was well attended considering the weather!
We had many moms and daughters come to our booth to be photographed for the Mother/Daughter Look Alike Contest 2010! Shown here are the winners 1st place Lori Abler
2ND place Michelle Leader... Wow, the judges had a hard time with judging! I am glad I just had to take the photos... We have also posted a video slide show on our Facebook page...

Santa is now back at the North Pole working on all the great holiday wishes of the children...

I think we wore him out!! This was the largest attended Santa Days ever WOW! We had so much fun thank you all for coming. The elves here at the studio worked extra hard and we are already delivering the finished portraits. Thank you girls for all your hard work...Christmas is almost here :)

It can't be September already!!!!!

I am bad about this blogging! We have had the most awesome summer filled with Seniors, Children, Weddings and Families.... And we still have a lot more to do before any snow flies!

We have been working hard on new sets for this fall and I am soo excited to get started with the colors of fall...

Our fall families special the Wonders of Fall has been booked solid for Sept.25-26.

But we would sure love to fit you into a regular session time sometime this fall so call soon!

I can't believe it is that time again! The Senior sessions for the summer are full!!!!! For those of you who are still wanting a time call soon and get on the waiting list or sign up for the fall sessions. Fall is a great time also to have your portraits done the weather is not so hot and the colors are awesome!!! These spots will fill fast also so call soon!

We have some great new additions here at Reflections! We purchased an old building on main street of Pierce and it is so cool. Retro to say the least.... You can even have your car photographed inside with lights and a smoke machine!!!!! So along with all the other great locations and sets that we have it looks to be a great summer... Can't wait to see all the new fashions!
