Bunnies and Ducks 2010

This years Bunnies and Ducks event filled up too before it could be advertised! This years event was so much fun the kids had a great time and I think the animals even liked it too, although I do believe they were ready to go back to the farm. Thank you to Krista for coming in to help again this year with the fun. You are truly the animal whisperer...

Margret, Gina, Heidi, Kim and Megan have been so busy getting out graduation invitations, we were so grateful for Sheila stepping in to help get the photos done in time for Easter! You guys are the best!

March started off with a photography convention in Las Vegas. Margret and I took on this adventure...we attended classes...shopped for the latest and greatest in the photographic world, and do we have some new products and ideas for you!! We went to a Barry Manilow performance..seen Robin Leach (Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous)..Phantom of the Opera...and various entertaining people on the strip!
And last but not least went out on the town with our friends from Millers Lab. We had a great time with Debra, Randy and Justin!! Thanks again for the tickets and dinner you guys are the best!!!!! Millers Lab ROCKS!!

March Madness has a whole new meaning here!

Warm winter get away!??!

February also brought us on our long awaited get away with our good friends Steve and Krista! We had a great time in Florida. If you ever go to Cape Canaveral look for a place called Fishlips! It has awesome food, great people, fun, dueling pianos and lots of dancing!!! Then off to the Bahama's via Carnival Cruise. The get away was great, the timing was terrible, it was the coldest they had ever seen it! Wow we got timing... We snorkeled and kayaked in wet suits.. Adventure after adventure...Of course my favorite was photographing Steve and Krista on the beach in Nassau at Atlantis Resort with Klint as my wing man our windy beach photos turned out great...I think they may have been turning purple from the cold water but they still looked great!

Wow, where did the last three months go????

I warned all of you that I was going to be bad at this blogging thing! I will catch you up though I promise!! This is usually a quieter time for us. But we have been blessed. The Tutu's and Teddy Bear's were a great hit again in February it filled very quickly...sorry we did not even advertise it but it was full before we could! We might change this one up a little and keep it one more year on our special events...

Professional Photographers of Nebraska convention

Every year for the past 20 years or so I have attended this convention and been a member of PPofN but it wasn't until last year that I entered the folio competition. As most of our clients know I am most happy if they are happy, so I had never entered the competitions our association had to offer. Last year we did very well. So this year when I entered I did not expect to win anything. I am my worst critic! But to my amazement the judges liked my style and blessed me with some of the top honors.

I am very honored! We have a lot of talent in this state and I am very honored to have been chosen.

We had a great weekend! Margret and Heidi attended the convention with us and learned so much from all the talented speakers. We are ready to get started changing things up again...as always!

Women's Expo 2010

Thank you to all the moms and daughters that came out to the Women's Expo at Divots January 22 & 23.The event was well attended considering the weather!
We had many moms and daughters come to our booth to be photographed for the Mother/Daughter Look Alike Contest 2010! Shown here are the winners 1st place Lori Abler
2ND place Michelle Leader... Wow, the judges had a hard time with judging! I am glad I just had to take the photos... We have also posted a video slide show on our Facebook page...
